At a recent Japanese press conference Nintendo announced that they would be making downloadable demos available to all Japanese 3DS owners, starting with high profile titles such as Monster Hunter and Metal Gear Solid Snake Eater.
Another title available to download is a game that we have been anticipating at newb HQ for a long time, Resident Evil Revelations. Rather than being a fast paced action title, like Resident Evil 4 and 5, Revelations is instead a kind of halfway house between the slow paced survival horror and the action oriented gameplay of the more recent entries in the series. 3DS owners that bought a copy of Resident Evil The Mercenaries 3D will remember that it came with a painfully short demo for Capcom’s next story driven Resident Evil game Resident Evil Revelations.
While we may not be able to download the demo in the West it is fortunate then that we have access to a Japanese 3DS.
