World of Warcraft goes Free-to-Play!
Erm... wait a second are we the only MMORPG that isn't free to play now? Oi! You guys! Wait up!!
The said it would never, never, NEVER happen (despite the fact we said it would!), but now it has, has, has happened!
World of Warcraft is now free-to-play!
Players can now create an unlimited number of characters and play them up to level 20, at which point they must pay.
How long before that cap is dropped? Less than 6 months is our guess…
The only question that remains is when MMORPGs will start paying players to play them?
