Retro Quick Look:- Gregory Horror Show

Continuing our retro video series looking back at classic titles from console generations past, Luke, Kieran, and Adam return with a video focusing on Capcom’s demented PlayStation 2 stealth game Gregory Horror Show.

Based on a long running Japanese cartoon, and developed by mega developer Capcom, Gregory Horror Show is a bizarre title that pretty much defies categorisation.  Your task is to recover lost souls from the Gregory House, a disturbing hotel filled with all sorts of disturbed guests, and deliver them to the Grim Reaper, who communicates with you in your sleep…

The game play mostly revolves around sneaking through the hotel and spying on the guests through their keyholes with the aim of discovering the secret to stealing their souls. At the same time you’ll need to maintain your sanity (through reading books and consuming green herbs) and avoid being assaulted by the more dangerous residents, or you’ll find yourself confined to Gregory House for the rest of time.
