Creators of Deathspank unleash a Swarm
Heads up folks, there’s a Swarm coming…
Taking us all by surprise over at “Newbreview Towers” is Swarm, a game developed by Hothead Games (the guys and gals that brought you Deathspank & Penny Arcade Adventures: On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness) and published Ignition Entertainment, is making it’s way onto XBLA and PSN in March.
The Swarmites will be swarming all over XBLA and PSN in March this year.
You’ll have to excuse our ignorance, as we at newbreview.com didn’t have a clue that Swarm even existed but boy oh, boy are we glad we do now.
Swarm is an action-platformer in which you take control of 50 utterly fearless Swarmites and drive them through an intense, entertaining and often suicidal battle of survival. Run, bash, huddle, boost, stack, jump, push and throw your way through gauntlets of death and destruction in an attempt to collect valuable DNA and ensure that at least one Swarmite survives.
Swarm will have you sending your little Swarmites to their deaths...all in the name of points and multipliers.
Factor in the distinct brand of humour Hothead Games will bring to Swarm as they have done in the past with games like Deathspank and you have yourselves definitely one to watch out for…
