Video: Resident Evil: Revelations
Ahead of the release of Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D on the Nintendo 3DS at the beginning of July, The Newb Review have managed to get their hands on the final retail version of the game. Being long time fans of the series (I must’ve played through Resident Evils 2 and 4 at least fifteen times a piece) we were incredibly keen to get our hands on The Mercenaries 3D; a whole game built around the insanely addictive score based Mercenaries Mode from Resident Evil 4 and 5? SOLD!
As well as being a incredibly addictive (we’ll say more about that in our full review next week) Mercenaries 3D comes packaged with a great bonus: a demo for next year’s Resident Evil: Revelations!
Set on board a desolate ship in the middle of a stormy Ocean, our intrepid heroes, Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine, find themselves investigating the horrific scene. The game’s producers Masachika Kawata and Takayuki Hama have promised a return to the series’ Survival Horror roots over the more action oriented games of recent years. And we have played it!
