You may have noticed a little something unusual about posts over three of your favourites for the last couple of weeks. Here’s the deal: We’ve been up to something.

Your mission, should you choose to accept it:
- Identify the three blogs involved. This bit shouldn’t be hard.
- Analyse the linked posts on the three blogs.
- Solve the puzzle.
To help you out:
The first portion will lead you there, if you can interpret the key 3.19.3 3 6
The second portion will provide the path, if you can decipher the clues 1 18.5.4 8.5.18.18.9.14.7
The third portion will tell you how to submit your response 13.5.24 16
Only submissions using the correct method will be accepted.
Now, the question remains: Why bother? Why should you make the effort of digging through a bunch of posts on three different blogs? Howzabout for a mixed bag of a dozen booster packs?
On behalf of the three of us, I trust that whets your whistle.
I just wanted to take a moment to thank Steve for allowing me to proliferate across his blog for 10 days now.
There’s been all sorts of talk of late about Silver and Modern age. A decent size portion of it seems to revolve around people bemoaning the inability to use their Golden Age cards in any sort of official capacity. I think this in part can be tracked to people missing their cards being valuable – look at the price of EomE’s a year ago, compared to today. If you dropped $100+ for a playset, well, no wonder you’re grumbling a bit now that they’re about to be relegated to kitchen tables…
When you think about the characters you love, who’s the first on your list? Which character makes you want to climb up a mountaintop to steal fire from the Gods?
I rarely come up with my own combos, and even then they’re usually only two card jobs, and never that complex.
I think one of the best things to come out of DCL is the revival of Aquaman’s fanbase. Sure, we’ve got the Superman and Batman and Wonder Woman fans out there all over the place, but Poseidonis really was a blessing for those hardcore nuts devoted to the Lord of the Deeps.
With MXM about to rotate out of Silver in a couple of weeks, it’s hard not to look back and think fondly of the decks slapped together around the various mutant traits.
