According to recent patents placed by Nintendo in the USA there is a possibility that the Nintendo WiiU’s screen may feature HD resolutions and be 3D enabled. Although the patents clearly say that the ideas registered are not entirely indicative of any retail product, they give us our best look at the ideas that Nintendo are considering for the Wii U. These include the possibility of using the controller with the Wii Zapper peripheral as a scope, voice and facial recognition capabilities, and using the build in camera and microphones as a video phone.
Nintendo are due to confirm final features of the Wii U (including a possible name change) at E3 this June, so anything is possible. Stay tuned to newbreview.com for more details as and when we get them.
