Darksiders Novel Cover
Last month we brought you news that there would be a novel released to compliment THQ’s action adventure game Darksiders II. At the time we only had a placeholder icon for the book’s cover. Today THQ has released the final version of the cover, featuring War and Death, protagonists of Darksiders and Darksiders II respectively. Check it out:
The novel’s narrative revolves around the Horsemen of the Apocalypse (beings charged with maintaining the Balance between the forces of Heaven and Hell) who have uncovered a plot to resurrect ancient weapons of unimaginable power. Death, with the help of his compatriot War, must track down and neutralize the mysterious individuals behind the scheme before the entire universe is plunged into a devastating conflict.
Darksiders II, the next videogame entry in the series, is due to be released on Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 on 29th June in the UK. Stay tuned to newbreview.com for more details as and when we get them.
